CBD FAQs

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is just one of over 100 phytocannabinoids (plant-cannabinoids) found exclusively within the cannabis plant. Each of these cannabinoids has a unique set of properties, with CBD being the most beneficial when used for wellness purposes.

Will CBD Make Me Feel High?

No. CBD is completely non-psychoactive and has actually shown to have an anti-psychoactive effects. This means that you use or ingest CBD without feeling weird or high.

Is CBD Legal?

Yes. CBD from The Blessed Bud is responsibly harvested and derived from  industrial hemp plants grown in the United States. CBD is completely legal to buy and consume in all 50 states of the U.S.A.

What is the Difference Between Cannabis, Hemp and CBD?

The Cannabaceae family of plants are made up of two different types of species – the hemp plant and the cannabis plant – which have two different cannabinoid profiles.

Hemp contains extremely low levels of THC but high levels of CBD, as well as other non-psychoactive cannabinoids and terpenes.

Cannabis, on the other hand, also contain these cannabinoids but with much higher quantities of the psychoactive THC and lower amounts of non-psychoactive cannabinoids.

Will I Fail a Drug Test if I take CBD?

Drug tests in the U.S.A. look for traces of the psychoactive agent, THC, not CBD. That said, scientific studies show that more than 1,000 to 2,000 mg of CBD consumed daily may be enough to result in a false positive for cannabis on less advanced, or older types of drug tests.
